The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) does not set up the cross.
You may wonder why the Church of God does not erect a cross on the roof.
It's because the cross is a mere idol God forbade.
[ Exodus 20:4-6 ] You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Although many churches claim that the cross is not an idol but a symbol of the church, it's a mere idol God commanded not to worship.
God showed us the identity of the cross through Moses.
We cannot get salvation when we worship the cross. Instead, we should keep the Passover of the new covenant established with Jesus' blood.

As we read the bible, the Cross is a mere idol which must not make and set up before God. It is useless for our salvation.
I did not know that Cross is an Idol.
We need to discern what we worship in church!
Many people think that they worship God but many of them worship idols in church. The cross had been used in various pagan religions before the Apostolic Age. It was an execution tool for criminals on death row in Rome. It cannot be justified even if many churches insist that the cross is just a symbol of the chuch. It's an idol God hates. We must destroy and throw away such idols as the cross. Christ Ahnsahnghong let us know that the cross is a mere idol which cannot give us salvation. Instead, we must keep the Passover of the new covenant for celebrating Jesus' death until the end of the world. Today, only the WMSCOG keeps the Passover of thew covenant by following the teachings of Jesus and Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came as the Second Coming Jesus.
God abandoned our worshiping idols. Cross is not exceptional. Therefore, we must not make nor set up Cross in and out of the church.
Bronze snake of Moses is jut bronze. Wooden cross is just wood. If people believe that wooden cross or iron cross have godly power to stop Satan's work or help you with something, they are worshiping idol like the Israelites who had been worshiping bronze snake for about 800 years.
People wear cross earrings and a cross necklace. Even some people have a cross tattoo. What is the cross for them? Is it just decoration or commemorate the sacrifice of Jesus? We must realize the cross is an idol. How can you decorate the tool which killed your Father? It doesn't make sense. We might have a trauma with the cross. Let's break the cross which is idol.
Amen. God commanded that "Do not make idols and do not serve and bow these." God said that we must not make idols. " Then, is it okay to make idols? No. But, let us think about cross. Cross has the image which we can see. So, Cross is an idol that God forbade to make. However, In the world, there are many cross and idols, The cross even is used in the Church. It is weird. Right? God's people must follow God's commandments. But, many Christians who say that they believe in God make the cross; idols. Can they are saved? Never. The Bible says that those who make idols will never be saved and they will be cursed. So, we should know God's word in the Bible exactly and follow God's word.
The cross is just an idol that God has commanded to get rid of, even through the Ten Commandments.
How could I hang the idol that killed the father of my soul in my house, in my car, in my ears, and around my neck?
How deplorable in the sight of God!
