God blessed and sanctified the seventh day, the Sabbath. (Genesis 2:7)

In the Bible, God created heavens and earth for six days and then rested on the seventh day. So, God appointed the seventh day as the Sabbath day. God commanded us to keep the Sabbath day holy. 2000 years ago, Jesus showed us an example of keeping the Sabbath day, and His disciples kept the Sabbath day.
