Passover
The key commandment of the New Covenant is the Passover, which Jesus kept with bread and wine, representing His flesh and blood.

Luke 22:15, 19-20
And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer... And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."
In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

The New Covenant Passover promises the forgiveness of sins and the blessing of eternal life.

Matthew 26:28
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

John 6:54
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Also, the Passover is a feast that means 'disasters pass over'.
The Israelites, who were enslaved in Egypt in the Old Testament age, kept the Passover with the blood of the lamb and were freed from the great disaster.

Exodus 12:11-14
This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD's Passover.
"On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn--both men and animals--and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.
The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
"This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD -a lasting ordinance.

Jesus, who came as the Passover lamb in the New Testament age, sacrificed on the cross for the salvation of mankind.

1 Corinthians 5:7
Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Those who keep the New Covenant Passover are protected from disasters through the blood of Christ and receive the blessing of going to heaven.
