Today, countless churches observe Sunday worship services that are not even in the Bible, claiming that it is important to believe in God and Sunday service has only a single-day gap, so they regarded the Sabbath as not a big deal.

Yes, it's true. there is only a single-day gap between the Sabbath and Sunday. But can you disregard the Sabbath?

If you agree, then you do not well understand God's will.

The Sabbath with God's Promise

There is God's promise of blessing into the Sabbath.

[Exodus 31:13~14] "Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.

God promised the Sabbath as a sign between God and God's people.

And through the Sabbath, God's people will know God who sanctifies them.

God established the Sabbath as the fourth of the Ten Commandments and commanded us to remember it and keep it holy.[Exodus 20:8]

In New Testament, Jesus, the Savior Himself, set the example of keeping the Sabbath.[Luke 4:16]

The apostles also kept the Sabbath day holy according to God's will.[Act 17:2~3]

In this way, the Sabbath is God's commandment that contains God's blessings and must be kept by God's people.

Sunday worship has no God's promises.

There are no God's promises in Sunday worship.

God promised to bless us on the Sabbath, but He never promised anything about Sunday worship.

Not to mention other examples, is not every Christian obliged to sanctify Sunday and to abstain on that day from unnecessary servile work? Is not the observance of this law among the most prominent of our sacred duties? But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify. [The Faith of Our Fathers, pp.72-73]

Even Catholics who observe Sunday worship say that the Sabbath in the Bible is Saturday, not Sunday.

Because the Sabbath in the Bible is clear, so we must keep the Sabbath according to the teachings of the Bible.

Promises are really important in our life. Even if paper money is just a piece of paper, it has value in it. Since it is a promise among the people.

God promised the Sabbath only.

Even if there is God's promise on Sabbath, still can you say it is just a single-day difference?

Don't think that the Sabbath is not a big deal. It has a lot of meaning for God.

Therefore, if you are a child of God who believes in God and hopes for the kingdom of heaven, you must realize this great difference and keep the Sabbath day, on which God's blessings are promised. So that you can receive all the blessings which are God promised.
