The Passover observed by the Church of God is distinct from the Passover of the Old Testament.

The prophecy of a new covenant:

[Jeremiah 31:31]  The days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

God prophesied that in the future, when the time comes, he will establish a new covenant.

Jesus establishes the new covenant:

[Luke 22:20] This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

According to the prophecy of Jeremiah, God came to Earth in the form of Jesus and established a new and holy covenant. It was through the sacrificial offering of Jesus, symbolized by His blood, that this new covenant was established. The value of this new covenant is immeasurable.

Jesus' desire to observe the Passover:

[Luke 22:15] Jesus expressed his longing and desire to eat the Passover with his disciples before his suffering. He sincerely and earnestly wanted to observe the Passover of the new covenant.

The Passover of the new covenant is a precious feast established through the sacrificial blood of Christ. Jesus' statement reveals his strong desire to observe this Passover.

There are too many people who reject the precious truth of the Passover and keep things like Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, and Christmas that are not even in the Bible.

The Church of God is the only church that correctly keeps the Passover, a precious covenant established with God's blood.
