According to the Bible, what is a false church? And what kind of church is God's church? There is a tendency to consider churches that have a long history and a large number of followers as authentic or orthodox, and those that don't as false (heretical churches). But how does the Bible identify them?

[2 Peter 2:1-3] But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed, these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

The distinction between heresy and orthodoxy is not based on personal perspectives but rather on whether they follow the Bible that God has revealed. By discerning through the guidelines provided by God in the Bible, we can identify God's church that follows the Scripture as orthodox and true. So, what are God's commandments recorded in the Bible?

[Luke 4:16] He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day, he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read.

[Luke 22:14-15] "When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, 'I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.'"

Jesus himself demonstrated the observance of the Sabbath and the Passover, and the early apostles followed His example by keeping the Sabbath and the Passover.

[Acts 1:7-2] "He said to them: 'It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.'"

[1 Corinthians 5:7-8] "Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

If a church follows God's will, it must observe the Sabbath and the Passover as the true orthodox church.
