Zion is the place where God's feasts and laws are upheld. The old covenant, the law, was established on Mount Sinai through Moses. Yet, prophets Micah and Isaiah prophesied that God would establish His law on Mount Zion.

What is crucial for us is recognizing Zion through understanding the law and covenant's establishment. The Apostle Paul contrasts Mount Sinai and Mount Zion.

The place where early church saints walked by faith is explained to be Mount Zion, where the truth of the new covenant resides. (Hebrews 12:18-24)

"Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover...

This cup (wine) is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." (Luke 22:8-10)

The New Covenant Passover established by Jesus with His blood. The church upholding the new covenant is Zion – the blessed place where God resides.

During the Dark Ages, the New Covenant was lost.
