Christ Ahnsahnghong gives us the wisdom and discernment to recognize false prophets

Jesus already knew that His people to whom He wanted to give the forgiveness of sins by shedding His blood would be deceived by false prophets. So Jesus warned us to watch out for false prophets by teaching the characteristics of false prophets so that we will not be deceived by false prophets no matter how gentle, truthful and righteous they look. If we do not look carefully into the words of God Ahnsahnghong in the Bible, we will fail to discern between true and false prophets and will be deceived by false prophets and follow them. That is something truly sad. We should have the wisdom and discernment to recognize false prophets through the words of Christ Ahnsahnghong in the Bible.

Mt 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Jesus warned us to watch out for false prophets. Then why did Jesus warn us to watch out for false prophets? Because they are spiritually ferocious wolves and devour our souls. They conceal their identity and come to people in sheep’s clothing. As their appearance, people consider them as God’s prophets and their souls are ravaged. Outwardly, they appear as God’s prophet in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly, they are false prophets who devour souls.

Mt 23:13-15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

Jesus said woe to you. 2,000 years ago, Jesus pointed at the Pharisees and the teachers of the law and said they are false prophets. False prophets hate the fact that people enter the kingdom of God the most. Their goal is to destroy souls. This is the only focus. They shut the kingdom of heaven and hinder people as well as themselves from entering it.

Mt 15:7-9 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ”

Jesus said that the Pharisees and the teachers of the law are hypocrites. Because they appear to act as if they believe in God. God said they worship God in vain. One of characteristics of false prophets is the rules of men. Their thoughts and judgements are based on the commandments of men. We have to recognize false prophets with the rules of men. Even though they look righteous and truthful, they are false prophets who devour souls if they keep the rules of men.
