Jesus said that false prophets whitewash their deeds to appear righteous and holy.

Mt 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

Jesus said woe to you. About 2,000 years ago, Jesus pointed at the Pharisees and the teachers of the law and said they are false prophets. False prophets are hypocrites because they just appear to act as if they believe in God. Also, they whitewash their deeds to appear righteous and holy. To whitewash is to masquerade. Whitewash is a liquid composition for whitening a surface which can make even dirty spots to white and clean. In the Bible, it is used metaphorically to refer to a person or a group who attempts to make falsehood look like truth. Even though they appear to people as righteous their inside is full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

Therefore, we can never recognize false prophets with their appearance. We have to recognize them through the words of God. Let's confirm who are false prophets through the words of God and receive wisdom and discernment. Then we can clearly understand that WMSCOG is the true church and prophets in WMSCOG are messengers sent by God.
