What is the purpose of us believing in God and going to church? God has told us that the purpose of our faith is to receive soul salvation.

1 Peter 1:8-9 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

If we do not receive soul salvation, we will eventually go to hell. God came to this earth to save us who had no choice but to die. God has given us His promise that we can live if we keep it. That promise is the new covenant.

So, can you be saved if you go to a church that does not know the New Covenant? Can I be saved if I go to a church that does not keep the New Covenant?

Such churches have no promise of soul salvation. It is a place where God does not exist.

God established the New Covenant Passover for the salvation of our souls and told us to keep it.
The way to go to eternal heaven without falling into the pain of eternal hell, that is, to receive the salvation of our souls, is to keep the New Covenant Passover.
