When there is light, there should also be a shadow. If you go into a forest and get lost, what should you do? Many people says that you can find the direction. If you look at the trunk of a tall tree, usually the side where you can find moss is the north. Why is it so? It is because that is the side where the sun light cannot reach. Since the sun light does not reach on the side, it is dark and shadowy on the side. As the result, it is damper than other parts and moss grows on that side.

On the contrary, on the part of the same trunk where it faces the sun light it is healthier and smoother. There are more branches and leaves on that part, and they branches are stronger than the other side, where you can find many dead branches due to the lack of sun light.

Why is it important? We can understand this spiritually. According to the bible, God is the light.

John 8:12 12When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus who was God came as light to this dark world. However, the darkness did not understand or receive the light. Why could they not receive the light?

John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

It was because they were afraid that their evil deeds would be revealed by the light. However, those who seek the righteousness came to the light and receive the light.

The light of life has shown again in our time. Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, the true light, came to this dark world again and are shining the light of life to the whole world. We must come toward the light and walk in the light. Then we will never walk in the darkness any more. Father and Mother will lead our way in the light of truth.
