The bible says that people say what their hearts are filled with.

Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Whatever fills the heart comes out from the mouth. Therefore, when we listen to what a person says, we can know what he has in his mind. In this sense, we can know what our heavenly Mother’s heart is filled with. When I listen to the sermons of Heavenly Mother, the topic of her sermon is always about the children. She says with smile about the people who went on a mission trip and the fruits they bore, the number of people found through the trip, the number of churches established, about the children who visited Mother, etc..

She talks about the children as if it is the only thing that she is concerned with. This shows that Mother’s wish is the to find the lost children. Also Father says that he came to seek and save what was lost from heaven. (Luke 19:10) This shows that Father’s wish is also to find all the lost children. Finding lost children is what they are pleased with.

Luke 15:3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Then what about us?

We say that Mother’s wish is our wish and Father’s wish is our wish. Is it true? Is our heart filled with the mind of finding all our lost brothers and sisters? Are we always concerned about the church and our members of the churches? When Mother makes a sermon, she always says at the end: Let us preach the gospel with the resolution that we will find all our family members this year. We hear the message of Mother year after year and forget.

We brush the message aside thinking that she has the habit of saying that all the time. And we does not try to understand why Mother is saying the same message over and over again every year. She truly wants to find all the lost children and to complete the gospel work. That is her wish and that is what her heart is filled with. But sadly, her wish does not sink into our heart. Our wish is not the same as her wish.

One pastor said that the last words of Mother given to the pastors before she leave the city after a memorial service was “Let us preach the gospel with the firm resolution that we will find all the lost members this year.” This time his mind was open and he could understand the heart and earnestness Mother has for the children. He came to realize how much Mother wants to find her lost children and go back to heaven. And he told us that from now on we should engrave the wishes of Father and Mother in our heart. Truly Father’s wish should be our wish and Mother’s wish should be our wish.

Let us preach the gospel with the firm resolution that we will find all the brothers and sisters this year. Let us make Mother’s wish our wish and complete the gospel work.
