2000 years ago Jesus came and established a church for the salvation of the people of God. Today among so many churches what is the church that we must go to receive salvation?

Matthew 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Since Christ promised that he would build his church, we can be sure that there must be a church established by Jesus Christ. And that is the church we have to go for the salvation. Then what is the church?

2000 years ago, Apostles and disciples of Jesus attended a church. And the name of the church was the Church of God. It was called the Church of God because it was established by God himself, not by a man. And the church could subjugate the power of hell, which means those who attend the church can have eternal life.

All those who called on the name of Jesus Christ gathered in the church and they could be sanctified in Christ by attending the church. And all the people in the church were called to be God’s holy people, the saints of God.

Today we can find numerous churches all of which call on the name of God. However, what is the church we should go to for salvation? It is only the Church of God or WMSCOG, which was established by the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem.

The true church must be founded on the rock, who is Christ himself, not by a mere man. For this reason, it is called the Church of God. And also it must have the truth of the new covenant Jesus established with his blood to give us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
