The Blood of the Passover allows us to become God’s children.
In the earthly family, when children are born, they inherit blood from their parents. No one can fully belong to a specific family if they do not share the same flesh and blood as their parents. In the same way, we can become God’s children when we inherit Their flesh and blood. Jesus taught:

Luke 22:20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Jesus said that the wine of the Passover is His blood, therefore the way God created for His children to attain his blood is the Passover of the New Covenant. If one does not keep the Passover, they can never become God’s children, that is why Jesus continuously emphasized the Passover to his disciples. When we become God’s children through the Passover the Kingdom of Heaven is guaranteed to us. What should those who will inherit God’s kingdom do?

Romans 8:16-18 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

The Spirit, our Father testifies that we are God’s children, since we are God the Father and God the Mother’s children, we should participate in their suffering so that we may share in Their glory as well. Even though hardship and persecution may come our way whilst following God, they should not weigh us down because the Kingdom of Heaven is guaranteed to God’s children. Let us receive our Heavenly Father and Mother who sacrificed themselves only to save us.
