Making a cross itself is to disobey God's commandment, "Do not make an idol." Therefore, the cross is merely an idol that God forbade anyone to make.

In the Bible, the cross is said to be an icon. We must not make or serve any image when we serve God. The cross is just a Roman death sentence

According to the words of God we must not make any image from anything. It says that, “4 You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. in Ex 20:4~6. It doesn't say that the cross is exception.

If we study the history of the church, we can realize that the cross is not a teaching of God, but an idol that was brought into Christianity by the customs of gentile.

Nowadays many churches use the cross as a symbol for Christ. However the cross had been used as a symbol of paganism long before Christ's crucifixion. The cross is merely a cursed tree(Gal3:13) used as an instrument of execution.The cross reverence is idolatry.

One of God's least favorite things is to make a cross and put it in a church. The cross is idols and if you pray on the cross, you will never go to heaven

The cross is just an idol that God ordered not to make and worship. He told not to make any image for God.
Today, many churches in the world build crosses and say that they are symbols of the church. However, this is an act of defiance of God's commands.
God said that these people can only be cursed and not be blessed and saved.
Is the cross necessary for our faith if we are cursed among those who believe in God?
