In the time of Moses, God told Moses to build a sanctuary as the place for Him to dwell among his people. Later, King Solomon built Jerusalem Temple as the dwelling of God and God began to dwell among His people by putting His Spirit in the temple of God. So for the people of Israel in the Old Testament, Jerusalem Temple was the dwelling of God.

Then what is the dwelling of God that we should go as people of God under the new covenant? Should we still go to Jerusalem in the Middle East? The bible already prophesied that we would not need physical temple in the last days. (Jeremiah 3:16) Therefore, we should not seek the physical temple of God as the dwelling of God, but rather the bible testifies that there is a spiritual temple of God where God dwells.

When Solomon established Jerusalem Temple, God promised to him that He would dwell in the temple by saying, that He would “put His Name” in the temple forever. Then spiritually, where is the place God prepared for His Name so that people of God would gather together and call the name of God there.

Isaiah 18:7 At that time gifts will be brought to the Lord Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers—the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the Lord Almighty.

This is a prophecy about the place God prepared for the people and nations with different complexions and languages, not just for the Israel people. It means this prophecy is for the spiritual Israelites, God’s people who God would gather in the last days. And in this prophecy the place God prepared for His Name is called “Zion”. This means Zion is the dwelling of God and God’s people must gather in Zion to meet God. We can confirm this through another prophecy.

Psalm 132:14 For the Lord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying, 14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.

This prophecy also states that the dwelling of God would be Zion and God is sitting on His throne in Zion. Therefore, God’s people who wish to meet God must come to Zion.

Isaiah 51:11 Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

And also God call the people in Zion as His chosen people who would receive the salvation of God.

Isaiah 51:16 I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand—I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.’

Through this we can see the true dwelling of God is Zion and God’s people who are to be saved in the last days will gather in Zion. That is the place where we should go for the salvation of God. Then what is Zion? Where should we go to find Zion?



Isaiah 33:20 Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken. 21 There the Lord will be our Mighty One. It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them, no mighty ship will sail them. 22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.

According to this prophecy Zion is the kingdom of God and God sits enthroned in Zion granting forgiveness of sins (Isaiah 33:24) and eternal life (Psalm 133:3). Then what is Zion? Zion is “the city of God’s festivals”. Zion is the place or church where the festivals of God are kept. Then what are the true festivals of God? Sabbath, the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, etc. (Letviticus 23:1) Even though there are many churches today, the only place where all the festivals of God’s are kept according to all the regulations of the new covenant is World Mission Society Church of God. Through this we can see the prophetical dwelling of God is the Church of God and we should go to the Church of God to meet God.

In the Church of God, we can meet God the Father and God the Mother who came down to this earth for our salvation and we can receive the water of life abundantly coming from the Spirit and the Bride. Come to the Church of God.
