The Law of God & the Sabbath Day Commandment
We all share the same goal in our life of faith: the salvation of our souls and entering the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
However, the Bible gives us a very important warning that not everyone who believes in God will automatically enter heaven
Through the scriptures shown in this video, I would like to gently share why keeping the Sabbath day, one of God’s laws, is so essential for our salvation.
1. Beware of "Lawlessness" on the Path to Heaven
In Matthew 13, Jesus told the parable of the weeds. He explained that the weeds represent "the people of the evil one" and that the devil is the enemy who sows them.
The Bible warns us about the fate of those who follow "lawlessness" (the way of the weeds) instead of God's law.
Matthew 13:41–42
"The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Jesus also emphasized that only those who follow God's will can enter heaven.
Matthew 7:21–23
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ... Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers’"
This shows us that to have a faith worthy of heaven, we must avoid lawlessness and instead cherish and keep the laws that God has granted us.
2. The Sabbath: A Promise of Eternal Blessing
Among God’s laws, the fourth commandment is the Sabbath day. God commanded us in
Exodus 20:8
"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy."
This is not just a duty; it is a channel of immense blessing. In Isaiah 56:4–7, God promises those who keep His Sabbaths
Isaiah 56:4–7
"...to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever. ... these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer."
The Sabbath is like a "rope" that leads us safely to the Kingdom of Heaven.
3. The Biblical Sabbath is Saturday
While many people today worship on Sunday, the Bible and history confirm that the true Sabbath is Saturday.
Jesus’ Example: Jesus Himself kept the Sabbath "as was his custom" (Luke 4:16), setting an example for us to follow.
The Evidence of the Resurrection: According to Luke 23:54–24:1, Jesus was crucified on the "Preparation Day" (Friday).
His followers "rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment" and then visited the tomb on the "first day of the week" (Sunday), which is the day Jesus rose from the dead.
Since the day after the Sabbath is the first day of the week (Sunday), the Sabbath is clearly Saturday.
Historical Change: Sunday worship did not come from God. It was introduced in AD 321 when the Roman Emperor Constantine decreed Sunday as a legal holiday, leading to the abolition of the true Sabbath.
4. Let Us Walk the Path of Blessing Together
God wants us to hold His laws in high regard because He loves us and wants to lead us to heaven.
Keeping the Sabbath is a beautiful way to show our gratitude and love for God.
We invite you to receive the eternal blessings and joy prepared by God the Father and God the Mother.
We hope this video helps you discover the precious truth of the Sabbath, so that we may all walk together toward our eternal home in heaven.

God said that sin is lawlessness.
Lawlessness means going against God’s law.
God gave us the Sabbath as His law.
If we abandon that day and keep another day instead, it is clearly lawlessness.
The Sabbath, which is God’s law, is a blessed and holy day established to grant us eternal rest in heaven.
If we keep the Sabbath according to God’s law, we can receive the abundant blessings He has promised.
The Sabbath is truly the path that leads us to Heaven.
Jesus set the example by keeping it. We must follow God’s will, not human traditions. Let's keep it in WMSCOG and receive abundant blessings from God.
God has given laws so that His people may live blessed lives. Among these is the Sabbath. He said that the commandment of the Sabbath, permitted in the time of Moses, must be kept until the end of the world. If you are God's people, keep the Sabbath.
