We must realize that we have a spiritual hometown to which we must return.
Now, we are living in a world that represents a spiritual prison because of our sins.
Since no one knows about our past life in heaven, God guides His children to return there.
Therefore, we should look forward to this blessing and live for it.
When we follow God’s teachings, He will make a way for us to enter heaven in the end.

[Hebrews 11:15-16]
If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.
Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one.
