Christ is God in the flesh who come to save humanity from sin and death. And many verses in the Bible prophesied that God will come in the flesh. But also it prophesied that Christ will be a stone that causes men to stumble. Why do the people stumble despite the purpose of God's coming is to save humanity?

Isa 8:13-15 "The LORD Almighty ... he will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare. Many will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured."

Here, the houses of Israel refer to believers. Why will God be a stone that believers stumble by?
The reason is because God will appear like one of us, humble appearance. Many believers expect God in glory. For them, God will be a tested stone. Because of this, many will stumble.

2,000 years ago, when Jesus had appeared in the flesh, many people who were waiting for Messiah stumbled by Jesus. Because Jesus's physical aspects like appearance, environment, family and life were not much different from ordinary people's. In the end, they rejected Christ who came as savior.

What testifies Christ is the prophecies of the Bible, not physical life and environment.

Jn 5:39 ... These are the Scriptures that testify about me ...

Those who only look at physical side can not receive Christ. We should look at the Bible, prophecies in the Bible.
The prophecies of the Bible now tell us that God the Father and God the Mother will come in the flesh to save us in this age. So we should correctly recognize God the savior, Holy Spirit and the Bride who appear according to the prophecies through the Bible.
