Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me."

Setting up the cross is breaking the first commandment and also breaking the second commandment.

Exodus 20:4-5 You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
or that is on the earth below, or that is in the water under the earth.
Do not bow down to them and do not serve them.

The cross is also an idol. It is a tangible object, and it is a man-made object.
Could the cross be an exception to the word not to make anything?

Two thousand years ago, the apostles and members of the early church thought of the cross as a “cursed tree”
Because it is the terrible thing that Christ was sacrificed for.
The cross was just a tree used as a tool for execution before Jesus.
Setting up a cross, giving meaning to it, and praying in front of it is idolatry.

In God, the cross is an idol that must be destroyed and is only a product of worshiping the sun god.
It is by no means a symbol of worshiping God.
The Church of God considers Christ sacrificed on the cross the object of faith.
The cross itself has no meaning in God.
That is why the Church of God, which follows the teachings of God, does not erect crosses.
