Therefore, churches that teach things that are not in the Bible are heresy.
What are some false doctrines that are not in the Bible?
1.The Sunday worship practiced by most Christians today is a false doctrine that is not in the Bible, derived from the worship of the sun god.
2.December 25, Christmas, which is observed as the birthday of Jesus in most churches, is derived from the birthday of the sun god and is not even in the Bible.
3.The cross is just an idol that God has told us not to make or build.

Let's think about the word ' heretic'. 2000 years ago, the religion leaders called Jesus as a heretic or even His disciples. It's because all the truth of gospel which Jesus preaches for 3 years was strange or even weird in their sight of acknowledge of man, not in the sight of God. So, they persecuted or slandered Jesus or His disciples at that time. They missed the chance to be saved by their fixed idea to regard Jesus as a heretic. However only those who accepted Jesus and the new covenant grabbed salvation which Jesus allowed.
The standard of judgment about what is truth or what is heresy is on the basis of the Bible. Now, WMSCOG keeps the new covenant following the Bible as the Early Church did.

Children of God do not keep the laws made by man, but they must keep the laws made by God.
