For ages, believers have thought that we have only God the Father. But WMSCOG (the Church of God) believes in not only God the Father but God the Mother. Then why WMSCOG believes in God the Mother as well? Why God the Mother? We can find the answer through the Bible.

Gen 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

This is the scene where God created mankind. God saidm “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…”. If God was one, God should have said that “Let me make mankind in my image, in my likeness…”. However God called himself us. Why? Because God is not one.

Verse 27 tells us that God created mankind in God’s own image and male and female were created. In other words, there are 2 images of God. The male image of God and the female image of God. The One whom we’ve known is the male image of God, God the Father, Then what should we call the female image of God? We should call Her God the Mother. The Bible testifies God the Father and God the Mother as well.

Even though the Bible testifies about God the Mother, can we deny Her? We must believe in God the Mother too. That’s why WMSCOG believes in not only God the Father but God the Mother. There’re many testimonies about God the Mother in the Bible. Let’s study diligently and receive God the Mother who is the Savior in this age.
