Elohim God who saved these children from wandering in the world.

It was about 15 years ago from today, I realized our true God, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother in this age. At that time, I was younger, and I remember living a hectic life, which didn’t give me a lot of time to think. If I was working late or if there was something troubling me, I enjoyed meeting up and talking with my friends to get rid of my stress. In those days, my wife first accepted the truth, and my life began to change from then on.

I had been working abroad for about 5 years, and I had my last vacation which was coming up before my return to Korea. My wife asked me if I could take my vacation in late April, but because of scheduling conflicts I could only make it in mid-April. At that time, I accepted the truth and after that, my memory of going abroad again and keeping the Passover by myself, remains fresh in my mind. I was still lacking in realization of the truth, but for my salvation, Heavenly Father, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, guided me to keep the Passover through the pastor’s detailed instructions. As I followed the pastor’s written directions literally, I made flour into bread, bought grape juice, and then I had the foot-washing ceremony on my own and also read, word for word, the pastor’s instructions that he wrote down for the Passover thanksgiving prayer. Now when I think back to the day when I kept the Passover, I realize it was the great grace of God the Father and God the Mother.

After that, I listened to the sermon tapes, which the pastor gave me, over and over again for 4 months until my return to Korea. There were things I understood and things I didn’t understand but I give all thanks to God the Father Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother for allowing me to listen to the sermon tapes without resistance and to realize the truth.

 At first, it was quite hard to understand the truth, which was being taught, but in the process of repeatedly listening to it, I was building up the trust that the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) follows as it is written in the Bible above everything else, and gradually, my faith was growing. I realized there must be the kingdom of heaven, where I didn’t know there before, and to live by the words of God, I gave up drinking and smoking. My personality was also much brighter and that in turn changed the way I looked. My fellow workers also told me that I looked calm and comfortable. That too is  God’s great grace.

Before I received the truth, I tried to do everything by myself and if that didn’t work, I got stressed and I lived in anxiety about the future. Truly I give thanks to God for guiding this child to the righteous way, and blessing me to be in God’s company. Even now, nothing is easy in this world but, since God is with me and helps me, that encourages me to overcome everything, even tough situations in a pleasant way.

Still, when I look at myself, I have not changed completely and that makes me feel sorry to Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, but with the hope for the kingdom of heaven, I obey the words God gives us, and I make every effort to follow that way until the end of our life of faith. If there are still people who are not sharing in this precious blessing, I hope you quickly come to the Church of God and receive the blessing of salvation.
