In World Mission Society Church of God, I Learned the True Example of Service.

 I would like to tell you a gracious story about the World Mission Society Church of God. I give my sincere thanks to the grace of Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for letting me know the teachings of Heavenly Mother and about the fact that God is glad when we serve each other.

When a Zion brother and I visited another brother’s house not too long ago, the brother was taking a shower and his wife, (our wmscog sister) was very busy preparing dinner. Then the brother’s son and daughter brought in a sitting cushion to sit comfortably on. We were going to sit in the living room so we wouldn’t cause the brother any inconvenience, but, the sister, who is 10 years old, insisted that we come into the main room because we are guests. I couldn’t refuse her recommendation with all her heart and entered the main room, then, she sincerely entertained us with fruits and tea. I looked back to my past days through her actions that she did with all her heart.

Did I entertain the members of the Church of God with all my heart? Did they find it hard to come to Zion because of my unrefined and uncouth behavior?

Until I left the house, I was so touched by her consideration; how she bowed politely and asked if there was anything inconveniencing me.

I asked myself how many times I had conveyed love, even though, I consider myself as one who loves brothers and sisters. Even a mother hedgehog would never think of her baby as ugly though it has lots of thorns, I avoided brothers and sisters many times because I didn’t want to see their faults and errors. I was so ashamed because I had wanted to be served even though I was nothing more than a sinner; even Almighty God did not come to be served but to serve.

If I realized that brothers and sisters were regarded as precious by Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother who sacrificed Themselves for us, I should have loved brothers and sisters and overlooked their mistakes, I repented of myself who loved myself more. I realized the obstacle was me who did not put the teachings of Mother into practice to make Zion full of joy and love. I give my sincere thanks to Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother for letting me awake by the words of life and become beautiful heavenly children.

Philippians 2:5~8 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death– even death on a cross!
