Jesus taught us about the characteristics of false prophets so that we will not be deceived by them no matter how gentle truthful and righteous they look because they put on sheep's clothing.
Let us now confirm the characteristics of false prophets to the word of God (Mt 7:15)
God's word tells us that these prophets are spiritually ferocious wolves in sheep's clothing and they devour our souls.
We can understand what they are currently doing by looking at their results.
Jesus said watch out that you will not be deceived by those who will try to drag your souls to hell preventing you from entering heaven then (Mt 24:3-4)
What is important for us to pay attention to today is the fact that many false prophets have appeared and are deceiving many people this was what Jesus was concerned about
True prophets are the prophets sent by God.
On the other hand, false prophets are people who are not sent by God but disguise themselves as if they have been sent by God.
God has let us know what characteristics false prophets have in order for us to recognize them.
The goal of false prophets is to destroy souls. this is their only focus their outward appearance is righteous and holy as though they lead people to God.
One of the characteristics of false prophets here is that they teach the commandments of men which means false prophets never teach god's commandments since their teachings are based on the commandments of men (Mt 15:7)
What kind of characteristics do today's false prophets have?
If we believe in God, we must follow god's commandments
However, in reality, today's churches are following the traditions and the commandments established by men not established by God.
If we do so we'll be able to distinguish between the churches that keep the commandments of men and the church that keeps God's commandments.
Ezekiel explained the deeds of false prophets and said they are like roaring lions (Ezk 22:23,26)
The devil is likened to a roaring lion according to the Bible. False prophets are compared to roaring lions her priests do violence to my law it means that they are violating god's law what else do they do and profane my holy things (1 Pe 5:8, 26)
They do not distinguish between the holy and the common.
They teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean and they shut their eyes too.
We can find a very decisive factor to identify false prophets
Since they shut their eyes to the keeping of God's Sabbath and they do not teach it to other people.
The most noticeable characteristic of today's false prophets is that they keep the commandments of men those who do not keep the Sabbath day
Although God has never said this men appointed Sunday as the holy day of the Lord since 321 until today all the churches have been worshiping the sun god by keeping Sunday worship
this shouldn't be happening in the churches.
There are many reasons why god appointed the Sabbath day.

Today's churches are not keeping god's holy law of the covenant which He established in order to lead all mankind to salvation.
The Bible clearly awakens everyone to the fact that those who are profaning god are the false prophets indeed.
Sunday worship which is kept in place of the Sabbath day, Christmas which is kept in place of the new covenant Passover that god established to give eternal life, and the worship of the cross which is idolatry.
All these commandments and doctrines have been established by men who do not worship in reverence of God.

God said that many false prophets would appear and deceive numerous people to keep us from being deceived by them.

Among the prophet teaches the Sunday worship and the prophet teaches the Sabbathday, who is the false prophet? True prophet who deliver God's words teaches the words in the bible. Sunday serviece is not in the bible but the Sabbathday is in the bible. So the prophets deliver the words of God Sabbathday, Passover of the New Covenant are the true and they are in the wmscog( World Mission Society Church of God)
Amen! False prophets teach what are not found in the Bible. The Sunday service and Christmas are not found in the Bible. They originated from pagan customs, specifically for celebrating sun-god.
Those who follow false prophets also cannot get salvation.
Where can we find the true prophets? The Bible teaches that we can find the true prophets in Zion where God's feasts are celebrated.
The Sunday service and Christmas are not God's feasts but mere man-made teachings.
God's feasts include the Sabbath day and the Passover of the new covenant.
Today, the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keeps the feasts of God including the Sabbath day and the Passover of the new cvoenant.
We can't distinguish between the false prophets and the true prophets by ourselves. It's because that the false prophets comes in the clothes of sheep. However, Jesus taught us who is the false prophet through the rules made by men: Christmas, Sunday service, etc. Then, so many churches keep Sunday service, and even celebrate Christmas. If we follow them, we can't be saved. Then, which church is true church we should go? where is the true prophet? The Bible says that Jesus established church of God with the new covenant: the Sabbath day, the Passover. Only WMSCOG keeps the new covenant, so we can meet the true prophet in WMSCOG. In there, we can get a chance to find the true truth.
We cannot discern with man's wisdom who the false prophets are. God helps us to distinguish from them. When we are yempted by false prophets, we never go back to kingdom of Heaven. Watch them out.

We need to remember that only God can give us the promised feasts of God!
The false prophets are those who do not keep the commandments of God. Today there are many churches and pastors. However almost of them don’t keep the laws of God such like the Sabbath and the Passover. So we should find the true prophets through God’s law. Today only the Church of God keeps all commandments of God. It means that WMSCOG is the place where the true prophets are.
Jesus taught that there will be many false prophets and false Christs in the last age. So, He warned that we must distinguish the true prophets and the false prophets. Then, how can we distinguish true and false? Jesus compared the false prophets like wolves in sheep clothing. What does it mean? It means that we can never distinguish the false prophets with appearance. The Bible says that the false prophets must keep the man's law. For example, the Sunday, Christmas, the Cross etc which is made by men. and they does not keep the God's commandment like the Sabbath, the Passover.
There're two kinds of prophets in this world. The true prophets lead people to what the Bible says, while the false to the thoughts from men.
Outwardly, it's not easy to find out the false prophets at a glance. They pretend to be the true and they even use the Bible.
However, the Bible warns that whoever is led by the false will be led to the lake of fire, not to heaven. How about coming to the WMSCOG established by Christ Ahnsahnghong? You can learn the truths of life from the true prophets.
Amen. We can realize false prophets only through the Bible.
God already prophesied about them in the Bible.
They do not follow and obey God’s teachings though claiming to believe in God.
Let’s follow and walk the way of Our True God, the Spirit and the Bride.
We can easily distinguish the truth from falsehood. In the Bible, God let us know the characteristics of falsehood. True prophets lead people to God's side so that we can reach to the kingdom of heaven. However, the purpose of false prophets is leading God's people to wrong way. That is why we should be watch out for false christs and false prophets as Jesus Christ taught us. We can never know by their appearance but through the words of God, we can know who are false prophets. Thanks to Father and Mother for letting us know this truth!
True prophets is in Zion! God is collecting his children in there! False prophet cannot stay in Zion. Because Zion is the place that God's commandments are kept. Those belonging to Satan never keep them.
