Let’s distinguish true and false by comparing ‘Feast of Tabernacles’ and ‘Thanksgiving Day’.
Thanksgiving Day is alleged to be one of the observances in Christianity
in autumn harvest season.
They claim that Thanksgiving which originated as a harvest festival
is being kept in commemoration of overcoming the difficulty in the New World of America,
and is regarded as the beginning of the winter holiday season including Christmas.
And in American history, it appears since 1789,
with a proclamation by President George Washington, the first president of the US.
Is the term of ‘Thanksgiving Day’ written in the Bible?
Did God command to keep it? Of course not!
It is neither written in the Bible nor spoken by God.
Rather, God commanded us to keep ‘Feast of Tabernacles’.
Thus they adds men’s rule to the Bible and take God’s words away from the book of prophecy.
Isa 29:13~14 The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.
In the Old Testament, God’s people kept the Feast of Tabernacles
to celebrate the completion of God’s tabernacle containing the Ten Commandments.
Lev 23:33~35 The LORD said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites:
'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD’s Feast of Tabernacles begins,
and it lasts for seven days. The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.”
In the New Testament, God’s people kept the Feast of Tabernacles
with hoping God would bestow on them the streams of living water.
Jn 7:2~38 When the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near,
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,
“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said,
streams of living water will flow from within him.”
The Feast of Tabernacles through which God’s people receives the streams of living water
is both God’s commands and very biblical.
On the other hand, Thanksgiving Day which was established
in commemoration of success to settle down in the New World of America,
must be the men’s rule and definitely is non-biblical.
As God warned everyone, “Not everyone who says to me,
‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”,
in order to go back to heavenly country, we must understand God’s will
and try to complete His commands and follow His will in every circumstances.
Absolutely ‘Feast of Tabernacles’ is the truth and ‘Thanksgiving Day’ is a falsehood.
To keep the Feast of Tabernacles is to follow God’s will.

Feast of Tabernacles is right. Thanksgiving is not in the bible but Tabernacle is. (Lev.23 and many part of bible.) Tabernacle was commanded by God, and Jesus also kept it.(Joh.7.37) But Thanksgiving was first constructed in 1612 in Plymouth, Massachusetts by pilgrims. It was written in American history. Thanksgiving is not God's Feast. But Tabernacle is a feast for the completion of God's temple.
As God's people, we have to keep the Feast of Tabernacles, not Thanksgiving Day. Moreover we should push away the paganism containing pagan's beliefs or activities or the custom. It is because we're approved by God Elohim as Their beloved children.
Right! Thanksgiving Day is not recorded in the Bible. Instead, there are many records of God's feasts. The criteria for distinguishing the truth should be the words of the Bible. It's clear that we should keep the feasts of God such as the Sabbath, Passover, and the Feast of Tabernacles. I give eternal thanks and honor to Elohim God for giving us the feasts of God through which we can live.
