Every December, some acquaintances ask me why the Church of God doesn't celebrate Christmas. And they even ask me that you don’t like Christmas Carol too. They tell me that the whole world is enjoying Christmas and that it would be uncomfortable to not keep only your church.
I will give the answer first that is not. Strangely enough, as time goes by, it seems that people are not getting more and more excited about Christmas. So I am not uncomfortable. Plus, we who are the member of Church of God never do anything than what God commanded in the Bible.
If Christmas has been God’s Commandment, I would have kept it with all my heart.
Let’s talk about Christmas that Jesus does not know.
If you find the birthday of Jesus in the Bible, you can’t. Because the date of Jesus’ birth is not directly mentioned in the Bible. So those who tried to find the date of Jesus’ birth will say that the book is too long and too thick to find it or the Bible is too difficult, so can’t read alone.
So I want to tell you to ask historians, newspaper reporters, columnists and professors this and they will definitely answer.
Christmas isn't Jesus' birthday.
And there are other ways too. You go to the internet, you can read the origin of Christmas on Wikipedia that is free online encyclopedia. They said christmas is to be the birthday of the sun god that God the Creator hates most. December 25th, the center of winter, is placed near the winter solstice. This time for the sun to float in the sky increases, and it was a festival day to inform the world that spring is near. So this day automatically became the birthday of the sun god. Because the sun is the shorten on around December 25th, and it gets longer afterwards. In the result, this day has been a festival day since ancient times, but it is not Jesus' birthday.
The important thing is that both protestant pastors and Catholic priests all know that this is not Jesus' birthday.
So why do they say that it is Jesus' birthday and have an event packed with all kinds of joyful songs and holiness?
It was because they were so sorry to God that they did not
know the birthday of Jesus? So did pick another day for the birthday of Jesus?
After all, why did they change the birthday of the sun god to the birthday of Jesus? Rather, In my opinion, it has resulted in teasing Jesus Christ who God the Creator came us as a man. Because Jesus hates Baal(the sun god) the most.
And Christmas is too human and pleasant custom, far from the act of commemorating the birth of God, Jesus.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING,
I'm sure Jesus doesn't know the Christmas and Christma
s tree, neither Santa grandfather who comes from the Artic every year. If Jesus does not know, it cannot be a church festival.
ALL CHURCH EVENTS WERE NOT GIVEN BY GOD EXCEPT FOR SALVATION OF OUR SOUL.
CHRISTMAS IS A CUSTOM THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BIBLE.

Amen! There's no records on Jesus' birthday in the Bible. Jesus didn't commanded us to celebrate His birthday but to commemorate His death by keeping the Passover of the New Covenant. Those who claim to believe in Jesus Christ should keep the Passover. However, so many churches, these days, don't keep the Passover. Actually, they claim to know God, but by their actions they deny Him.
Indeed, there're numerous churches that claim to believe in Christ Jesus.
Many Christians cherish the Christmas every year, thinking that Christmas is Jesus' birthday. How vexing!
Of course, I used to keep this Christmas before the WMSCOG.
But, now, I realized that Christmas has nothing to do with the salvation of my soul. It is just worshiping the false god against God the Savior.
Our deeds remain on God's memory and we'll reap what we have sown while living on earth!
Christmas is not the birthday of Jesus but the birthday of the Sun god. But it is very strange. Why most Christians celebrate the Christmas as Jesus birthday? It is because they follow the false prophets. We cannot find about the Christmas in the Bible even the single verse. Christmas has made by men. It is just lawlessness.
So we have to distinguish between the false prophets and the true prophets. The prophet who teach people the Christmas as Jesus birthday, he is just false prophets. 2000 years ago, Jesus said that "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven". To celebrate the Christmas is not the will of our God the Father. So we must not celebrate the Christmas which is the birthday of Sun god.
What is true about Christmas? Most Christians think that Christmas should be kept by those who want to be saved.
As for me, I never want to celebrate this Christmas at all!
First of all, the Bible never wrote even a single verse about Christmas.
This means that Christmas has nothing to do with our salvation.
Whoever keeps this Christmas will be condemned in the end because it is for Sun god.
Right! Christmas is not the birth day of Jesus. So, we shouldn't celebrate Christmas.
Before I learned the fact that Christmas is not Jesus' birthday, I used to celebrate that day... But now, through God's grace, I more value the New covenant of the Passover and Elohim God who are the true Saviors. I try to inform people of the correct fact about Christmas.
The Bible says that creating doctrines that are not in the Bible is an idol and a different gospel.
The answer becomes clear if you find out where Christmas came from before you get the right or wrong answer.
I don't like Christmas at all ! It is because Christmas celebration is one of Satan's schemes in order to lure Christians to worshiping sun god! It is time to face the ugly truth !
During the end of the year, people want to enjoy their time. I think many people are carried along by the atmosphere. According to the Bible, people follow Satan's scheme unknowingly. It is not for us. If we are believer, we have to keep the Passover instead of Christmas God doesn't know.
When looking into Christian history about pagans coming into the Church, Christmas is a festival of the sun god, Baal. How could so many churches in which they claim to believe in God celebrate Christmas? So, to get the way to salvation, we should keep the truth of the new covenant God Himself established by His sacrifice on the cross.
I was so shocked when I heard about the origin of Christmas. It didn’t have any relevance between the Christmas and the birthday of Jesus. Now, I’m so sad that so many people regard Christmas as the birthday of Jesus without knowing the origin of that. I hope all the people know about it!!
We still have more than a week left till the 25th of December. However, I can hear carols and see trees on the street. I hope that the truth about Christmas and its origin can be known to all the people in the world.
Christmas is pagan festival, not birthday of Jesus. Satan spreads the lie to lead us to the hell. Christmas is the one of the lie of Satan. We must not celebrate the Christmas. We must celebrate the feasts of God, the New Covenant which was kept by Jesus.
On this, I do agree with you completely. 'If Jesus does not know, it cannot be a church festival.' Christmas isn't Jesus' birthday and surely can't be any anniversary for Christians.
There no where indication in the Bible that the Christmas was Jesus Christ birthday. Christmas is truly man-made.
Christmas is from custom of pagan. Then, why do Christians celebrate the day eating and drinking.It's for Jesus? No,
Think about !! Will you like if someone in your family celebrate your birth day on the other days not on the day? No. It's same to Jesus. Nothing !!
Christmas is not origin from the Bible and It is the birthday of Sun-God! If we celebrate this, we can't receive the blessing and salvaion because it is Idol! I hope many people know this fact correctly!
Jesus told us to remember him by celebrating the New Covenant Passover for his death and sacrifice for our salvation. Jesus never told us to remember or celebrate his birthday. Plus, December 25th is the birthday of the Sun God. We can predict that Jesus was born during the Spring time.
Who on earth confidently says Christmas is the Jesus' birthday in the presence of God? Christmas is none other than the different gospel which Jesus had never preached. It is ever not found in the Bible because it has nothing to do with God Elohim.
Christ came to the earth and taught humble by His example. Why did He teach us humble. This is the reason that our sin was arrogant and disobedience. We were not humble but stood against God in heaven. We need to be humble so Christ Himself showed example for our salvation. From now on, I will make efforts to be humble and repent from bottom of my heart.
