[1 Corinthians 11:3-4] Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head.

A man's head represents God, and it is said that if a man prays with something on his head, he dishonors God, who is the head. This means that men should not cover their heads when worshiping and praying.

[1 Corinthians 11:5] And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head--it is just as though her head were shaved.

This means that women must wear a veil on their heads and worship or pray.

Likewise, men wearing nothing on their heads and women wearing a veil on their heads are the basic manners of worship offered to God and acts of courtesy toward God.

If you look at general churches, you can often find cases where men worship with a hat on their heads, or women worship with their heads uncovered. These acts dishonor God, according to the Bible.
