God has commanded us not to worship idols!

God commanded us not to worship idols when He told us not to worship other gods.
He set it as the second of the Ten Commandments and commanded us to keep it.

God's command not to worship idols

What should we do? It is God's command; surely, we must follow it.

What is an idol, and what is idolatry? You should know that to avoid it.

It is an act of worshiping idols to create and serve any material or form or to give meaning to it.

Let's check what idols are.

carved stone, sacred stone, and image made of wood or stone = all idols.

An idol is an image made of material and used for worship or reverence.
In addition to this, any image made of any material is considered an idol, such as metal, wood, stone, and so on.
We should not worship the idols that God has commanded us to do.
Why? Did God command us not to worship idols?
Because we shall miss our salvation from that.

Let us become children who obey God's commandments for our salvation.
