Jesus compared himself to a vine, and we to the branches attached to the vine.
Unless the branch is attached to the vine, it cannot produce leaves or bear fruit.
Likewise, we can do nothing without God.
We cannot be saved if we depart from the truth.
We must keep God's commandments and persevere to the end in order to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Only when we abide in God the Father and God the Mother can we enter the kingdom of heaven.
As the fish can never live without water,
We can not live without Father and Mother
I also think that we all should depend on God for eternal salvation. We should know that we can do something when God helps us. Apart from God? Fundamentally, we can do nothing.

What is our essence? We can say that our essence is not our physical body but rather the soul. Therefore, without the grace of God, who governs our souls, we would be devoid of any meaningful purpose.
The vine branches can bear good fruits when it exists as a part of the vine. When it got separated, it cannot do anything. It would be dried up and thrown into a fire. We are the same. When we remain in God, we can bear good fruits. When we got separated from God, we can do nothing. We would be like branches and be thrown into the fiery furnace.
