[Revelation 22:17] The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"

Some say that the bride in this verse is Mary. But that's incorrect. Do you know what is wrong?

• The Bride of Revelation is the wife of the Lamb

[Revelation 21:9] One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

In the wife of the Lamb, the Lamb is Jesus. The bride is the lamb's wife. In other words, the bride means the wife of Jesus.

What about Mary? Is she Mary the wife of Jesus?

Physically she is the mother of Jesus. Then, how can we say that Mary is the bride of Jesus?

• The Bride of Revelation -> The Savior who gives the water of life to those who are thirsty

[Revelation 22:17] The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

The bride is the savior who gives the water of life, but Mary is a sinner like everyone else.
If Mary is not a sinner, she does not need a savior. But Mary confessed that God is her savior.

[Luke 1:46-48] And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant.

Mary, like us, should be a sinner who receives the water of life from the Savior.
