Many people believe in God, and the reason is to seek salvation for their souls. They earnestly put in efforts to achieve salvation, such as reading through the Bible, studying the Bible deeply, and praying in the early morning.

However, even though they desire salvation, they fail to pay attention to God's words in the Bible, which clearly state that to receive salvation, they must obey God's commandments.

Can their souls truly be saved by their own thoughts and methods?

Isaiah prophesied well about those who honor God with their lips but have hearts far from Him, worshipping Him in vain by following human teachings.

Matthew 15:7-9: "You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.'"

They give importance to human-made commandments instead of God's commandments. However, what does the Bible say?

The Bible warns that serving God through human-made commandments becomes vain worship.

Matthew 7:21-23: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"

Those who do not keep God's commandments are practicing lawlessness, and their actions cannot save them. Only those who do God's will can receive salvation.

What is God's will?

It is not lawlessness but keeping God's commandments. That is God's will.

One should understand that obeying God's commandments is the path to salvation for their souls.
