The purpose of believing in God is to attain salvation and enter heaven.

Our souls are in a state where they are destined to perish if not saved.

[Romans 6:23] The wages of sin is death.

Humanity, having sinned and fallen from heaven, is facing spiritual death.

To escape death and achieve everlasting life is to attain salvation for our souls.

[1 John 2:25] This is the promise he has promised us: eternal life.

Jesus taught us how to achieve forgiveness for our sins and attain eternal life.

It is by partaking in Jesus' flesh and blood.

[John 6:53] Jesus said to them, 'Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

So, how can we partake in Jesus' flesh and blood? It is through observing the New Covenant Passover.

[Matthew 26:26-28] While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'

The Passover bread symbolizes Jesus' flesh, and the Passover wine symbolizes Jesus' blood.

To receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, one must observe the New Covenant Passover.

In the Church of God, it is imperative to keep the New Covenant Passover and strive for entry into the eternal kingdom of heaven.
