What is the purpose of our belief in God?

This is what the Bible tells us

[1 peter 1:9] for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

The purpose of our faith is the salvation of the soul.

Do you believe in the soul?

In order for us to live a proper religious life, we must know the soul problem.

Let's find out through the Bible!

[Ge 2:7] [T]he LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Man was created with the dust and the breath of life, that is, the body and the spririt. So, a living man is a combination of the body and the  spirit. What will happen when a man dies?

[Ecc 12:7] and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

when a man dies, the dust which is the body returns to the ground and disappears.

Howeve, our spirit separates from the body and returns to God. In other words, death is the separation of the soul from the body, not the extinction of the soul.

We learned about the soul for a short time.

Next time, When we die and return to God, we will look into the situation in detail.
