Those who do not keep the Sabbath and the feasts insist that all the feasts have been abolished quoting Col 2: 16 to excuse they keep Sunday. Then Let's disprove it through the Bible. firsth, Let's see.

Col 2:16~17 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon Celebration or a Sabbath day.

Here, Do the words in Col 2:n 16 mean that we must not keep any feast, why do the catholic church and the protestant churches keep feasts such as Sunday, Christmas and thanks giving day?

And If Col 2: 16 really had meant that Apostle Paul who wrote this book of colossians wouldn't have kept any feast. However, Apostle Paul kept all the feasts including the Sabbath and the Passover.

we can clearly check that there are records which Apostle paul kept the Sabbath and the Passover in Ac 17, 18 and 1 Co 5.

Therefore, a religious festival in Col 1: 16 is not the feasts of the New Covenant that Apostle Paul kept.

Then, What were the feasts which the Jews judged the Christians with regard to, in those days?
They were the feasts of the old testament which the Jews held fast to.

in those days, the Jews criticized the Christians for not following a law of the old testament.
So, Apostle Paul said that since Jesus had already abolished the written code which is a law of the old testament through his sacrifice on the cross, they did not need to be criticized by the Jews with regard to the feasts.
And He pointed out the faults of those who criticized the Christians with regard to the feasts of the old testament which had been canceled.
Let's confirm this through the Bible.

Col 2:14~16) …having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross … triumphing over them by the cross. Therefore do not let anyone judge you …

Also, a following verse too proves that the Sabbath and the feasts in Col 2:14 were the feasts of the old testament. In addition, Apostle Paul said that the Sabbath and the feasts he mentioned were a shadow of the things that were to come.

Col 2: 17) These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

As the Bible says the law of the old testament is only a shadow of the good things that coming, the Sabbath and the feasts which the Jews uttered to judge the Christians mush have been the law of the old testament.

By the words in Col 2: 16, Apostle Paul meant that the Jews must not criticized the Christians who keep the Christ's law which is the reality, instead of the law of the old testament which is a shadow. He didn't meant that Christians must not keep the Sabbath or the feasts of the new covenant.

Therefore, It is wrong to insist that the Sabbath and all the other feasts have been abolished, quoting Col 2: 16.
