Many Christians emphasize only faith and not keeping commandments of God because they think we will be saved only by faith. But the Bible clearly shows us how important to keep God's commandments to be people of God who will be saved.

Of course, faith is important to be saved. But it doesn't mean that nothing is required except faith for salvation. When we see the case of forefathers of faith just as Moses, Noah, Abraham everyone did action with faith. Noah made the ark, Abraham went to strange land leaving his homeland and Moses kept Passover believing the words of God. All actions of them came from faith. In other words, obedience is followed by faith. Saints in the new testament must follow the commandments of God, that is the new covenant, Jesus taught to obey. That's why the Bible testifies the saints who will be saved in the last age keeps the commandments of God.

Let's see the prophecies happened these days.

Rev 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. ...
Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring-those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus

Those who against Satan is God's people. The Bible describe God's people those who obey God's commandments. It means that the feature of God's people who again Satan in this last age is to keep God's commandments.

Rev 14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.

With above verses, we can understand that whoever want to be God's people must have not just faith but also obedience that keep God's commandments. Can anyone still insist that keeping commands of God has nothing to do with salvation?

Let's be the people of God who are testified as saints in the Bible by obeying the commandments of God that Christ taught us.
