The Blood that Gives Us Cleansing

2023-12-06 12:03

According to the bible, all human beings on this earth are destined to die because of the sins. For us to receive salvation, we have to get rid of our sins first. Then how can we be cleansed from the sins?

Hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

In the regulations of the old covenant, God commanded to sacrifice animals by shedding the blood of the animals. Through the blood of animals they could be cleansed from the sins they committed. The only way of the forgiveness of sins is in shedding the blood.

In the law of Moses, the Israelites shed the blood of animals as copy and shadow. Through the blood of animals they could receive forgiveness. However, this animal sacrifice was not the perfect way of forgiveness. It was given temporarily to teach us the reality which was to come.

Hebrews 10:1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.

This animal sacrifice could not give complete forgiveness. Then what is the reality of the animal sacrifice? What can give us the complete forgiveness from the sins? The bible teaches that the Christ was the reality of the sacrificial animal and we can be cleansed of our sins completely through his blood.

1 Corinthians 5:7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Christ became the reality of the lamb and sacrificed himself on the cross. And through the blood that he shed on the cross we can be cleansed of our sins and iniquities.

Hebrews 9:11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. 13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

According to the law of Moses, once a year on the Day of Atonement, the high priest could enter the Most Holy Place of the tabernacles with the blood of goats and calves to give the cleansings for all the sins committed by the people of Israel.

However, Paul teaches this regulations of the old covenant could not cleanse all the sins completely. Jesus established the new covenant with his blood and through the new covenant he granted “eternal redemption” by shedding his own blood. Therefore, those who are under the new covenant can be cleansed from all the sinful “acts that lead to death.” For this reason, Jesus is called “the mediator of the new covenant”.

Apostle Paul and Peter testifies that we can be completely cleansed of our sins and iniquities through the blood of Christ. And those who are under the new covenant can receive complete redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

1 Peter 1:18 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. 22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. 23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

We can be a new creation and be born again through the blood of Christ. The blood of Christ is the only way we can be purified of all our sins. For these reasons, we must keep the new covenant with a reverent mind, giving thanks to Father and Mother. They sacrificed and shed their own blood and gave us the new covenant. I give eternal thanks and honor to Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.

I feel sorrowful that Father and Mother have sacrificed so much because of my sin that I committed and still clings to me. I pray God to get rid of all sinful nature from me. I truly want to be born again and be holy as God is holy. Thanks to Father and Mother for allowing us the forgiveness. We Love U❤❤

The love of God the Father (Jesus) engraved in the hearts of many Christians today is truly sublime.
What is the truth established by the love of God the Father?
The truth established to save us on the night before the sacrifice on the cross is the “New Covenant Passover.”
For His children, He granted forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life through His precious blood.
The new covenant is the truth established for God’s people.
Jesus said that those who eat and drink his flesh and blood will have eternal life. He also taught us how to eat and drink the flesh and blood of Jesus.

Passover contains a truly important promise from God.
So the Bible also consists of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Old Testament consists of the old covenant, or old promises. In other words, the blood of animals contains the promise of forgiveness of sins.
The New Testament is the New Covenant, which Jesus changed and completed to make it new and simple to keep.
Completion means that there is a completed new covenant commandment.
The New Covenant allows the blessing of forgiveness of sins through a new promise as ‘spirit and true worship.’
Even in the New Testament era, Jesus set the example of the Sabbath Passover as a form of worship.
Therefore, as Jesus taught, we must keep the New Covenant Sabbath and the New Covenant Passover on the promised date!

Heavenly Father, who came to this earth as the Passover sacrificial lamb and gave His life as a ransom for mankind... Through His sacrifice, we received life. We will definitely keep the New Covenant Passover established through sacrifice.

Jesus established the passover by his blood.
As there is no forgiveness without blood in the old testiment time, God gave us forgiveness of our sin through the passover that was established by his blood.
