What is the purpose of the bible?
Probably this is the most important question we have to ask when we read a book? What is the main topic? What does the author intend to deliver through this book? These are the most basic questions we ask when we read any books. It is the same with the bible. When God gave us this book, God must have his intention in it and we should know what is the purpose of God in giving this book to us. In this way, we can grasp the true meaning of the bible.
When we don't think about this point, we can get lost in the words on the pages and wander around the things that are not important for us to know. In this way, some try to understand history, others parables, and still others moral lessons from the bible. But if these are not the intention of the writer, then we are missing the most important things from this book even though we might get some knowledge through our reading.
Then what is the purpose of the bible? What is the reason God gave us this book? Let us find out the meaning of the bible through the words of God in the bible. Apostles and prophets who received these words from God teach clearly to us about the main intention and purpose of the bible. Apostle John writes about the deed and words of Christ in this way.
John 21:25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
This is true. God could have written thousands upon thousands books to teach us about everything: history, secrets, parable, moral lessons, etc. Anyway, God is God of wisdom and knowledge. And we are so much ignorant. How many would there be God wants to let us know!! However, he did not do that. He compiled only small part of his work and deed and gave us this book. This means this book has specific intention of God which we have to understand. Then what is it? John let us know the intention of God. He writes:
John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
He clearly says that Jesus did much more than what is recorded in this book. Nevertheless, he recorded only small part of Jesus' work and that part is specifically related to a topic, that is, "life" or eternal life. Through this we can understand God gave us this with this in mind: he wanted to teach us about the Savior and the eternal life we will receive by knowing and believing in the Savior.
This is the main purpose of the bible. Therefore, what we have to seek is the Savior who gives us eternal life and the way we can receive eternal life. Now let us find out the Savior in this Age of the Holy Spirit and the way we can receive eternal life from them.
Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
The bible teaches that we have to meet the Spirit and the Bride for the water of eternal life. The ultimate purpose of reading the bible, therefore, must be finding the Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life. Who are the Spirit and the Bride? God gave us this book to give us answer to this question. I hope you would find the answer through the bible.

What our God want the most is God's children to be saved. So God gave us the Bible. The purpose of the Bible is to give us the forgiveness of sin so that we can have eternal life. When we have eternal life, we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven where there is no more death. Then, how can we receive the forgiveness of sin? Only God have the authority to give the forgiveness of sin. It means that we have to know who our God is, who our savior is. And the Bible testify about the savior. So we can find our God, our savior only through the Bible. The most important thing is the Bible clearly testify about God Elohim, who are our God the Father and God the Mother. We must go to God Elohim to ask to give us the eternal life. Then we will be able to enter our eternal home!
Amen! Only through the bible, we are able to acknowledge our Savior.
Amen, the purpose of reading the book of the Bible is to get eternal life, in order to receive eternal life, we must seek the existence of Saviors who allow us eternal life. They are the Spirit and the Bride, God the Father and God the Mother.
Amen!! God allowed us to recover our lost memories through the Bible.Through the Bible, we could meet God the Father and God the Mother who loved us so much. I give all thanks and honor to God the Father and God the Mother for allowing us to understand the meaning of the Bible.
Amen! Some people just regard the Bible as a history book. However, the Bible is written for our salvation!! We have to know the purpose of the Bible! 🙂
We can accept the Savior only through the Bible: the Spirit and the Bride.
In this age, we should meet the Spirit and the Bible to get salvation (Rev 22:17) by studying the Bible diligently.
As prophesied in the Bible, we should come to the Spirit and the Bride for salvation!
God gave us the Bible to realize God, the Savior, and to give us salvation. Therefore, we have to believe in the Bible and we should find God the Father and God the Mother ,the Saviors in this age. And let's go to the kingdom of heaven.
The big mystery of the Bible is to realize Christ coming in the flesh to get the way to eternal life.
The Bible is a manual which leads us to the salvation and to the kingdom of heaven.
Actually, so many books are written for the purpose which is about the life such as how to live well, what is the good life and more.... However, The purpose of the Bible is beyond life, eternal life!!! The Bible is so thick and looks so complicated, but, we can understand about the Bible when we realize the purpose of the Bible!! 🙂 Now, the Bible leads us to Elohim God who give us the eternal life. Let's go there, meet them and receive the eternal life together!! 🙂

I will read the Bible by understanding the main purpose of it.
The Bible is like a diary that Heavenly Parents wrote about history of us, Gift that God Elohim gave for our salvation.
Thanks to Heavenly Father n Mother for allowing us the Bible.
Bible utself is best book , as far as sales is concerned, in the world. Why?? The reason why everyone wants to get not only salvation but go kingdom of heaven. That's why bible is only one book how to go kingdom of heaven,how to get salvation. But, bible is testified by Savior. That's who God the father and mother!!!
The bible testifies God and we can believe Elohim God. It is clear that not only God the father but also heavenly mother exists.
Usually people has the purpose when he is doing some activities. Likewise there must be the purpose for the people to read and study the Bible. The purpose of religious belief is to gain eternal life. Then we have to attend the Church of God where we can meet God Elohim and be saved.
The Bible says that do not treat prophecies with contempt (1Th 5:20)
It is because all the prophecies of the Bible are surely fulfilled.
God gives the heart to recognize the true savior in this age who values God's commandments.
