The most important factor that is required for the salvation of our souls is faith. According to the Bible, without faith we cannot please God, neither can we receive salvation from God. Therefore, we have to examine our faith continuously and make efforts to have firm faith that shall not be swayed. Through the life in the desert, we can see that God tested the faith of the Israelites to find out whether they had firm faith in God or not. And only Joshua and Caleb who had firm faith in God could enter the land of Canaan. In the same way, in this life in the spiritual desert, God is testing us by putting us under various circumstances to find out what is in our hearts. Therefore, we should overcome difficulties and sufferings to be proven that we have faith deserving salvation and entering the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.

Then how can we show our faith?
I think to follow the words of the Bible is faith.
Amen. True faith is followed practicing, endurance and thanksgiving. Because Joshua and Caleb absolutely believed God's promise, they endured every dificulties and thanked God in every moment, so finally they met victory to enter Canaan.
