One of the promise of God for the Passover is the protection from the disasters. Those who kept the Passover could be saved out of disasters. Moses and Israelites could be saved from the disaster of the first-born by keeping the Passover. Hezekiah and his people also could be saved from the Assyrian army through the Passover.
