The religious image of the cross is also idolatry. Also, the cross is historically a symbol of the sun god.

Many people have a huge misconception about the cross. We must study thecteachings of God through the Bible and obey the words of God to distinguish idol.

Using the cross is standing against God the Savior! God has commanded us not to worship idols, which is detestable to God. However, many Christians are doing the detestable thing before God. Using the cross has nothing to do with salvation at all and the Bible never taught us to do so. Instead, whoever wants to be saved must remember that God's precious blood opened the living way to eternal salvation.

Most churches insist that the cross is not an idol but a mere symbol of churches. However, whatever they say, the cross is an idol God forbade us from making or worshiping. The cross was was not erected in the Early Church. It was introduced into the church when it's secularized.

We must not make or worship the cross. Instead, we should keep the Passover of the new covenant Jesus established with His blood. Today, the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keeps the Passover of the new covenant by following the teachings of Jesus. Jesus established the Passover of the new covenant and promised the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:28.) Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the new covenant which had disappeared for more than 1600 years since AD325.

Cross is Just an idol.

There are many reason to erect the Cross. For commemorate Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, as a symbol of the Church and to get comfort through cross when some faces difficult.
However, these reasons are not correct in aspect of God. God said not to make any image by thinking God and not to erect anything. And God said also the cross can do no harm nor do any good when we wear the cross on our neck. And, if some want to commemorate Jesus' sacrifice, you can do it by keeping Passover like Apostles in the age of Early Church.
Anyway, there is no biblical reason to erect the Cross.

Does the cross look holy? Would God think the same? Only what belongs to God can be said to be holy. So, what does the cross mean? They are simply idols that God hates and detests so much. God said that no image could replace God. But Satan tries to make anything that can turn his back on God and go against him. The cross is just a tool for execution. It is horrible.
