A TESTED STONE IN WMSCOG

All of us go through tests in life. We get tested to enter a prestigious university, to get a job or to acquire a certificate. All these tests are needed for us to have a better life. In the same way, there are tests we need to overcome, to enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.

Isaiah 28:16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed”

God put a tested stone in Zion. The one who trusts in it, will never be dismayed. Who does it represent?

1 Peter 2:4~8 As you come to him, the living Stone-rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him- … For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone,” and, “A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message-which is also what they were destined for.

The tested stone represents Jesus Christ. It was very difficult to recognize God in the flesh, 2000 years ago. So those who claimed to believe in God, did not realize that Jesus was the Savior and rather crucified him.

Isaiah 8:13~15 The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread, and he will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare. Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.

Jesus was like us in every way. How difficult it must have been for them to pass the test which was to believe in God who was poor, unlearned and in the flesh. Only the members of the early church could pass the difficult test. Many people witnessed the miracles that Jesus performed, but they did not receive him.

John 6:66~68 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him…Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

The reason why only a few followed Jesus is because they knew that Jesus had the words of eternal life. Jesus, who taught them how to receive eternal life through the Passover of the New Covenant, was seen as a precious cornerstone to them.

However, in this age, our Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother (God the Mother) appeared and gave us the words of eternal life through the Passover of the New Covenant just as Jesus did, 2000 years ago.
Apostle Paul prophesied, as follows:

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Of course, it’s not easy to believe, but we should. We must pass this test to receive eternal life. Many stumbled in faith, 2000 years ago, because they did not recognize their true Savior.

Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Only the one who receives the white stone with a new name written on it, will know it. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches!”.
