Do you have an insurance for Eternal life?

Why do people buy insurance? There are many reasons why a person may choose a specific insurance policy, for example, to provide for their old age, to pay for health care, or to provide financial support to their bereaved family in case their life is cut short. Though we cannot live longer than 100 years, we invest our time to take out an insurance policy just in case something happens. All these are for our physical comfort. What kind of insurance policy have you prepared for your soul?

Have you prepared anything for your soul while living a life which cannot be boasted of like the rich man in the aforementioned parable? Luke 22:14; 19-20 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. … And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

John 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Is there a policy more definite than this? It is the Passover that protects us from every kind of disaster and gives us eternal life. We buy insurance policies to prepare for our life which will not last longer than 100 years. However, the Passover guaranteed by God is the best policy which enables us to prepare for eternal life.
