Who made it?
Watches evolved from portable spring driven clocks, which first appeared in 15th-century Europe and it’s said that the pocket watch was developed by German inventor Peter Heinlein in the 16th century. Suppose a man strolled down a country lane and found a pocket watch which had been buried under the mud when watches were rarely known to the public. If he had never seen a watch before, he might have been surprised when he found that the sun rose and set at the same time every day. Also, he would ask the question: “Who made it?”
When we encounter a “state of the art” product, we sometimes wonder who made it. For example, we know that a sophisticated computer was made by someone even though we do not know who actually made it. But it’s true that it was produced by someone. However, think of the universe. Surprisingly, many people think the universe was created by accident. How can people think that the universe — the largest and most sophisticated thing that’s been produced — was created by accident while they think that a watch or a computer was made by someone?
For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. (Hebrews 3:4)
The builder of the universe which can be called the largest house is God.
In the beginning God [Elohim] created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
We should seek the Creator who created the heavens and the earth. The Bible says Elohim God created the universe. Elohim is the plural form of Eloah or El and it means “Gods.” For this reason, it’s written, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness” when God created man (Genesis 1:26-27.) This means that we have God the Mother as well as God the Father. The Bible also says that God the Father and God the Mother give us the water of life in this age.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)
When we seek and receive Elohim God who created the heavens and the earth, we can enter the kingdom of heaven again.
