The best prescription for Heaven

I am a member of WMSCOG. I want to share a fragrance of Zion.

A few months ago, my voice started to crack and sounded hoarse. So I went to see a doctor, and he told me that I had reflux laryngitis – it was acid reflux that caused my larynx to get infected. As he said it took several months to treat, I let out a big sigh unconsciously.

The doctor prescribed medicine for a month and let me know some of the restrictions that come with it. He told me about the things that I must not eat and the change of lifestyle that I needed: Do not drink coffee or soda which can cause acid reflux, and instead drink a lot of water frequently; do light exercise and avoid lying down right after eating a meal. I am not one of those people who take medication regularly. However, I made up my mind to take it at the prescribed time because, this time, my symptoms were serious.

After a month, I went to see the doctor again. Saying that my condition had improved, he asked me if I had stayed away from the food that I had to avoid and if I changed my lifestyle. When I thought about it carefully, I took the medication regularly, but I did not pay a lot of attention to his instructions.

“I tried as hard as I could.”

Seeing that I was a bit embossed, he spoke to me with a serious look on his face.

“The restriction I gave you, as well as the medicine, are also a part of the prescription. You will get well soon but only if you follow my instructions.”

I felt a prick at my conscience. Repeating the restrictions, he earnestly asked me to keep them. Actually, before I went to see the doctor again, I had some complaints because my symptoms were not improving as well as I thought they would, even though I took the medication regularly and exactly as prescribed. However, it was not the doctor’s fault, but mine-I did not follow his instructions closely.

I should have always kept the restrictions in my mind and followed them, to say nothing of taking the medication, in order to get well soon. To get better and to remain healthy, I must not neglect even a single thing given by the doctor.

Now I reflect on how my spiritual health is. To save my soul that was dying because of sin, God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, our spiritual doctors themselves established the regulations of the new covenant in WMSCOG as an instruction for our salvation.

Matthew 9:12-13 “On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Hebrews 8:10,12 “This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people… For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Ezekiel 20:11-12 “I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy.”

The New covenant such as Sabbath day and the Passover in WMSCOG are the instruction given by Elohim God to save us, therefore we must keep it well to be cured of our sins which cause our spiritual death. Moreover, God gives us the words of restrictions as children of God so that we will not lose our salvation.

Ephesians 5:3-5 “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a man is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”

I will try my best to follow the instruction of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother who are the Savior in this last days, so that I receive a rich welcome into the kingdom of heaven.
