After studying the subject, ‘Elohim God’ in WMSCOG

One of the outstanding truth of the World Mission Society Church of God[WMSCOG] is God the Mother. This time, let’s study the truth about God the Mother through the subject, ‘Elohim God’. Most of the churches in the World call our Creator “God Most High,” and they think He is one. I too used to think that God is one and He is our Father in Heaven. However, after studying in the World Mission Society Church of God, I came to understand the truth of God the Mother.

In Genesis we can see that the plural Gods made all creatures, including man, saying, “Let us make man. . .”

 Ge 1:26-27 Then God[Elohim] said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

In the Hebrew text, the word for God in the singular sense is “El” or “Eloah” and its plural form “Elohim” means Gods. God our Creator made man in His own image, and male and female were created. This indicates that there are both male and female in the image of God. Until now most Bible scholars have characterized God only as male, calling Him “God the Father.” They have not spoken of God as female. However, the Bible characterized God as both male and female, but it was contrary to their custom and doctrine. So they have regarded it as heresy to believe that there is God the Mother as well as God the Father.

As mentioned above, the Bible testifies that God has both male and female images. Until now, most people may have had a preconceived notion that there is only one God who is male. Then, from now on, they need to know there is also the female God and follow Her, according to the teachings of the Bible. Salvation can be given only to those who follow the will of God. Let’s see the Gods work together, saying, “Let us . . . .”

Ge 11:5-9 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. The Lord said, “. . . Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel―because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

In Genesis 1, God made male and female, saying, “Let us make man . . . .” In Genesis 11, we see the Gods working together, saying, “Let us . . .”; we find the male and female Gods breaking the pride of men and stopping them from doing their evil work. Let’s see another example.

Isa 6:7-10 . . . Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” . . .

In the book of Isaiah God said, “Who will go for us?” not saying, “Who will go for me?” Here we can also understand that both God the Father and God the Mother work together and lead the gospel work for our salvation. In many Biblical verses we see God working together, saying, “Let us. . . .” Elohim [Gods] created all things, including mankind, saying, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.” From the beginning, God the Father and God the Mother have been working together; They worked together to break down the pride of men by stopping them from building the Tower of Babel, saying, “Let us go down. . . ,” and They also worked together on calling the prophet Isaiah by saying, “Who will go for us?” Thus, Elohim, God the Father and God the Mother, worked together. And according to the prophecy in the Bible, God the Mother has appeared in the last days.

Rev 19:7-8 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

Rev 21:9-10 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

Here, we can see that the Jerusalem is our spiritual Mother who came with the Lamb(Second Coming Jesus) to give us eternal life. Before I attended the Church of God, I never knew that God the Mother exists and She will appear in the flesh in this last days. However, by the grace of God the Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, I could understand the truth in the Bible. I give all thanks and glory be to Father and Mother.
